Frontera Merlot is a dry red wine of the merlot varietal. It is deep red in appearance, with a great intensity. The nose is delicious with hints of plums and herbs. On the palate, it is smooth, with a great structure. There are evident hints of chocolate and spice, which balance perfectly with dark fruit flavours.
The grapes used are usually hand-picked and mechanically harvested as well in the month of April. The ageing takes place for a period of two months in stainless steel tanks.
